Richcliff paving and a brick kitchen run

An older concrete patio, cracked and undersized, sitting between a brick house and a garden that deserved better.

The replacement is laid in Unilock Richcliff in Dawn Mist, bordered in Copthorne Basalt to draw a clean edge against the lawn and pick up the darker tones in the roof. The new footprint is considerably larger than the concrete it replaced, sized around a dining table and a separate seating group rather than one or the other.

The grill island is faced in brick chosen to sit with the house and topped in leathered granite, with a Summerset stainless grill built into the run. Because the masonry matches the architecture, the kitchen reads as part of the building rather than an addition to the garden.
